This is a newly created position designed to address the behavioral needs of our shelter residents and help them become ready for adoption and their new role as ‘family member’.

Second Chance Center for Animals Recognized as Purina Shelter Champion

Second Chance Center for Animals – the only organization that “rescues from the rescues” in Northern Arizona – announced today that it has accepted an invitation to join the prestigious Purina® Shelter Champions partnership program. The Shelter Champions partnership program was created in 2016 by Purina to achieve a mission shared by Purina and select animal shelters across the United Stated to find more homes for more adoptable pets.
