Dinner on Henry Street – Gala Tickets On Sale We're celebrating our 125th Anniversary in a BIG way! We will be hosting a spectacular high-energy Gala right here, under the stars, on the Lower East Side in front of our historic headquarters at 265 Henry Street! We hope you will join us as we celebrate on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Applauding Our Scholars Applause bounced off the walls of the gym at 301 Henry Street throughout the 16th Annual Expanded Horizons Scholarship Ceremony, held on Thursday, May 31. Proud family, friends and Henry Street team members cheered as over 100 scholarships from the Abrons/Aranow Scholarship Fund, the Bernard Tannenbaum Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Sobie Family Scholarship Fund, and the Bloom-Margolies Scholarship Fund were awarded to rising and current college students. The report details the concerns of Lower East Side neighbors, clients and others about issues such as housing and gentrification, education and police-community relations. Read the report here » Camp Enrollment Still Open! Registration is still open for Henry Street Settlement's Camp Henry, a great way. for children ages five to 13 to spend their summer. This year’s theme is Urban Explorers; each week will include thrilling explorations of the five boroughs and New York City history, which will feature field trips, project-based activities and theme-based parties. Spend your Saturdays with us! The Settlement now offers three free Saturday classes – adult fitness, youth dance and business basics – at 301 Henry Street. Classes are open to all, free and tons of fun! Just stop by any (or all) of the programs. Youth Dance class runs from 10-11 a.m. in the gym, followed by Adult Fitness from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Growth and Goals Academy is held from 1-2:30 p.m. in the first floor classroom.
