Henry Street Settlement is participating in Open House New York, a city-wide weekend celebrated every fall. Join us on Saturday, October 14th and tour our historic headquarters—your last chance before we open our exhibit there to celebrate our 125th anniversary in 2018.
Make Your Voice Heard
Please join us along with community residents, leaders and elected officials for Henry Street Settlement's fourth annual Town Hall Meeting on Sunday, October 22, 2016 from 3 – 6 p.m. at 301 Henry Street.
Welcome Back, Sol Lain Playground!
Henry Street Settlement joined local elected officials and community leaders to welcome back the new and improved Sol Lain Playground to Henry Street, after a year-long $3.6 million renovation.
Summer Goes Out With A Bang At Henry Street
Henry Street ushered in the back-to-school season with the Lower East Side United Festival, the School Based Mental Health Clinic and Parent Center's annual Back to School event (assisted by volunteers from Lloyd's Bank and United Talent Agency) and Jobs Plus and Jacob Riis Cornerstone Community Center's 2nd annual End of Summer Jam. Henry Street also joined Abrons Arts Center for a free class day, allowing visitors to try this fall's arts classes for free.
New In Our Action Center: Aid Puerto Rico & USVI
The recent Hurricanes has caused devastation for those in Florida, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas. We urge our community to call to ask for a stronger federal response.
